St1ngr4y
So does anyone know why they have added a third level? Will RM now recognise when 1.65.2 becomes available? Ray
Chrissaf
It is yet to recognise (auto-update) to the 1.65.1 version level if you have 1.65.0 as the current installation..It appears that HRMS have changed their version numbering scheme by adding the .1 to the main version number. Seems they can't win, as this is something many users have been requesting for ages (a rational sequential numbering scheme that is).

Augustus Caesar
Because members will then ask for a numbering system... :-)
Yelrow
surely a date would do. As of now, its very confusing. john
Fishmanoz
To me it seems like a very positive work in progress. HRMS has responded to our requests and introduced a better version numbering system - well done HRMS. However, they've yet (at v1.65) to have the version numbering check within RM respond to the new format, it is still only responding to the first 3 numbers in the format, not the 4th and any subsequent. But for all we know, it may have been introduced in 1.65.1 such that it will recognise 1.65.2, they can't have restrospectively changed 1.65 to recognize 1.65.1 etc. Haven't downloaded it yet, so no idea if release notes tell us what has been done. Anyone checked? Until we know more, the standard advice remains in place - if any problem is noticed in your system, first action is download the latest from the link to make sure you have the latest. We know it is always the latest there, irrespective of what it's called. Clearly the forum needs to catch up with the new format too.
Chrissaf
Anyone checked?.I did, nothing in release notes at all. Exactly the same release notes text file as version 1.65.0.
AncientMariner
I've downloaded and installed v16.65.1 rev 0 from the link on the forum, or so RM tells me. It would be nice if HRMS could update the link description. The link is supplied by Hornby web site Admin not directly by HRMS. I will ask Adam to fix it For you.RobTa. AMHmm, still seems stuck though. AM
Fishmanoz
What do you mean stuck AM? And please stop using the blue quote button to reply, just use the text box and green button at the bottom of the page as I have just done, to save us all searching for meaning in shades of grey/yellow.
