Chrissaf
When your Elite powers up, does it display the Word "Classic" or "Standard"? If the former, you need to use the Elite menu system to change the Unit -> Mode to "Standard".Ray
Chrissaf
As others have said. A 'bog standard' common issue that comes up time and time again. The Elite needs to be placed in 'Standard' operating mode. What the others have not said. Hence my duplication post, is that changing the Elite operating mode is described on page 67 of the Elite manual (version 1.41 and above).

Chrissaf
Hi guys,I am new to DCC and Railmaster and have encountered a problem. I have encoded the R8247 point decoder and the points work correctly when operated by the Elite. However when connected to the Railmaster the points will only operate under a differnt port number.e.g No 76 points on Elite throw on address 76 but when plugged into Railmaster they will only throw when allocated port address 79.What am I doing wrong?Your advice would be welcome. 96RAF
Welcome When your Elite starts up check if it is in Standard mode, if in Classic mode then your points will be three out. Rob
