Nick Moore1707819886 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I would love to see Airfix releasing more ships in 1/350, but in particular how about some Fleet Auxiliaries? I work on these ships and am also ex-RN so I know how valuable they are to any operation, not only for the Royal Navy but also, in certain cases, for support of the Army and occasionally RAF. They are highly important Fleet units and deserved to be offered as modelling subjects.Also, one area which is very sadly lacking are the pre-Dreadnought ships. The ships were highly important in the eventual development of the modern warship, particulary the battleships of course, as well as being very good to look at. I'm sure that someone out there makes kits of some of these fantastic ships but I don't know where they may be. I would love to see some of them being kitted in 1/350.
