I honestly thought that the new R9290 James is the same as the old one, apart from the face, but I am wrong. The new James clearly has a lighter shade if red. The 'number 5' on his tender us a touch bigger than the old one too! I haven't a clue if that is good or not. You have the 2011 R9687 British Stamp Collection James as me too! I'll be more even with you, when I get my R9290 James! 😆

Please note that it may look a bit off owning three James', but I am selling the R852 James. This is a non-runner. It will be on eBay soon. The other two, I am keeping.
