Baseboard legs up for grabs

Hi everyone. This is my first post to the forum. I am currently building a Hornby model railway based on the trakmat system, for my son, in my garage. In time, I also want to build a layout based on my favourite railway, the much missed Somerset and Dorset line that was sadly closed on 6th March 1966.

I have a quantity of eight or nine metal table frames (no top surface) that would be ideally suitable for modellers to fix their railway layout baseboards on. They are all the same type and would be on the level as they are all the same height. They could be used in multiples to support a bigger layout if required. I have already more than I need as my son's layout is already placed on top of two of these frames and does a great job of supporting it.

I would be delighted if they all found good homes amongst the many fellow Hornby fans out there! Any takers? I live in the Bristol/Bath area, so the only cost to you would be the travel to collect them.

As I am new to the forum, so I'm not exactly sure yet how I can pass on personal details, but I guess it would be via the moderator/Hornby admin? I can also send photos too but not sure how?

Regards

Unfortunately I have had to remove your post as you included a personal email address, which is in breach of the forum guidelines. I have replicated the rest of your post below with the offending mail address omitted. There is no 'Private Messaging' functionality on this forum. In exceptional circumstances (where there is no financial gain i.e selling) you can ask the Forum Administrator via email "forum@hornby.com' to exchange mail addresses of two consenting forum member parties. Both parties have to make the request to Admin so he can confirm that the arrangement is consensual for both parties.

Hi there. if you check out my profile, you'll see that I am returning to Railway Modelling after QUITE a few years! I live in Cheltenham and find myself in Bristol quite regularly "shopping" with my daughters at the Cabot Centre!!

Your table legs sound just the job for me! I am building a 6' x 4' layout and need something to stand it on to save my creaking old knees. Can you help me.please? I would really appreciate this. Please get back via the Forum Admin.

Many thanks.

Craig
