Abbotsbury
Just wondered if anyone could help regarding a wiring problem to link track. I have tried to create a layout consisting of inner and outer ovals connected by two sets of points. In addition to this, a siding comes off the outer oval. I am using just a single controller and loco. I can run the loco around the outer oval without any problems. I switch point A to enable the loco to pass point B and enter the inner oval. Again no problems after adjusting the points with running the loco around the inner oval. I then switch points C and D to allow the loco to leave the inner oval and rejoin the outer oval. All is fine until the loco goes over point A, it then comes to an abrupt halt and the controller goes out ..so a short. I have tried applying link wires to join the inner and outer ovals at various points but still this problem. Cannot quite understand the logic but do i need to have a link wire running just before point A and after .. but surely the power rail is providing a continous current for the outer oval ..??? Loco is as you probable tell running anti-clockwise direction/media/tinymce_upload/7c658cb617680ca708a45dea83e5690b.jpg
