Fishmanoz
Hi in-training, welcome to the forum. I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean with your question, however DCC is connected to the track via the A and B track outputs on your Select using a DCC (not DC) power track or power clip or other direction connection like soldering to the track. This is the same as with DC where again the 2 track outputs go to the track. Just one thing to note, you cannot connect both DCC and DC at the same time, they must be completely separate with only one DCC controller connected at the same time too. in-training
I will try to explain better When I connect the a & b wires to the track layout the controller seems to shut down 3 lines appear on the screen and nothing works I have hooked it up to a short piece of track not connected to the layout and it works fine.I hooked up the dc after removing the dcc and i can run a dc train on the track no problem Thats sort of tells me there is no shorts any idea whats going onMany thanks

Chrissaf
Are you using the DCC power track connector and NOT your previous DC Analogue power track connector? The DC version is not compatible with DCC.
Fishmanoz
It seems you have a short circuit on your track. These are often caused by having made a reversing loop somewhere. If you can post a picture or diagram of your layout we can advise further.
