Chrissaf
White and Yellow (switched negative polarity) in conjunction with the blue (common positive). Make sure that the LED front and rear lights incorporate a series connected current limiting resistor (typically 1,000 ohms) in the white and yellow wire circuit..See also this web pagehttp://www.brian-lambert.co.uk/DCC.html#Decoder_1
96RAF
I can't find 56085 listed in the Hornby guide.com site. If yours is the early Class 56 type with a ringfield motor then it will have glass bulbs, but if the later central motor, twin bogie drive version it will have leds. A quick way to guess which it is - is one end heavier than the other if so its a ringfield, is the model very heavy and balanced, if so it a central motored one. The method Chris talks to is purely for leds, although the same basic logic applies to the bulb type which are probably better being converted to leds anyhow, but if not then the subject of DCCing bulb equipped models has been covered before on the forums so should pop up in a search.
