seanrail
Will it be weathered as shown or pristine?
96RAF
I!would guess slightly grubby per the product page. R3284TTS appears to be the pristine one but in a different configuration.
Dazzler down under
oooh I hope it's weathered.
Castle-Man
It's great that we all have different likes and dislikes.Personlly I don't understand the attraction of weathered although I can understand that if you want thing as realistic as possible it could make sense. But to pay more to have somthing made to look tatty?

NWR-Gordon-4
It's this, WTD: https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/br-4-6-2-flying-scotsman-60103-a3-class-brunswick-green-with-tts-sound.html/. In answer to your question, seanrail, the prototype image shows it as being weathered, so it should be weathered. The only difference woudo be, that the amount of weathering on the final product to this image, may differ.
Jeff Mennell
'Brunswick Green' seems to change every couple of years! It's very dark these days........
NWR-Gordon-4
Well, all paint changes. I find that all paint isn't the same, unless it's from a different batch. This is the reason why I hate paint. For example (I know this has nothing to do woth this topic and I am sorry for going off topic), but two years my dad decided to repaint the hallway in our house. He bought a small sample tub from Homebase to see if he liked the colour and he did. So he went back to buy two big tubs of the same colour, but when started using it, it was a completely different colour to the paint that came from the sample tub. Even Humbrol paint is different. This is why I don't like paint! 😆
2e0dtoeric
What is R3508TTS? - - brings us back to my much earlier comment/request for meaningful titles to threads! :-)It just needed two more words to tell everyone what the subject was without having to look it up! walkingthedog
That's exactly why I asked the question 2e0 and why I didn't answer.
