Chrissaf
Note that Adam is 'off' until next Tuesday. So this may take some time to fix if it doesn't auto-correct itself.
Chrissaf
Above is a test image. It wouldn't load using the B&W Hill icon method. The upload timed out with an error message (not the same error message that LC got, but a different one)..The image above was placed in the reply using 'copy and paste'. This seems to still work OK and could be used as a 'work around' until such time as the underlying issue is fixed.
LCDR
I tried 'Copy and Paste' but it didn't work for me. ☹️

Chrissaf
/media/tinymce_upload/307ffebbda7a90d6819a9ba5535124dc.jpg.Uploading seems to be working again. This is the full size version of my earlier test image (1MB file) uploaded using the 'B&W Hill icon' method. HB's avatar seems to be back again too..Maybe the forum software engineers are tinkering in the background still trying to resolve the 'logging out' issue. Chrissaf
Not my dog Fishy. It belongs to my niece. I do however look after it, when my niece is away with her family...holidays and the like. This particular photo was taken 9th of this month whilst my niece was in Spain. The field with the horses was part of a new walk route I found in my area that I didn't know existed. Despite the horses being resident in the field, it has a 'public right of way' footpath across it..Can't see the horses !!.........look to the tree line on the right hand side, just behind the shallow grass ridge. Chrissaf
On previous days when the horses were closer. The dog was kept on the lead. On the day the photo was taken the horses were way off in the distance, several hundred metres away on the other side of a wire fence that can not be seen in the photo. For all intent and purposes effectively in a different field. My nieces dog is extremely well behaved and won't go more than a few feet away from her handler whoever in the family that may be at that time, walks to heel and comes back instantly on command. On the days when the horses were closer (in the same physical field with the walkers 'right of way' in it) and no more than 15 feet away, the dog WAS kept on the lead as we walked past them, the dog completely ignored them. I am a responsible dog walker and gave total consideration to the horses welfare and follow the 'Country Code' where applicable.
RB51
Not wishing to meander too far off the original point of this thread but dogs on Public Footpaths are to be under "close control". A leash is not required if your dog is well behaved. R-
Chrissaf
Just to provide the evidence for Roger's statement. This extract taken from the "The Countryside Code" published on the "GOV.UK" web site. The red ticks indicate the situation applicable at the time the photo was taken../media/tinymce_upload/2267ebaf1678d99971fcf5de039efde3.jpg
trainlover23
I would have thought that common sense dictates that you should always put a dog on a lead whenever other animals are about, no matter how well behaved the dog might be.

Yes some replies on here by certain posters are much much longer than shaggy dog stories. Common sense applies dogs near other animals ALWAYS on a lead

RB51
If you are doing all that as specified, then there are only two other things to consider. 1. Your picture image is faulty in some way.2. Your image is being held for approval. Only forum Admin. authorises images for publication on the forum and you may have to wait until Monday for it/them to show up.
