Loco cuts out system

I've checked for obvious shorts.

.

What with......a meter or your 'Mark 1' eyeballs?

.

Also, being a Bachmann, is it a 21 pin socket or a 'hard wired' decoder you have fitted. I'm more than willing to be proven wrong, but either the decoder is faulty or is mis-wired / mis-fitted. As obviously the controller is detecting a high current draw that it is deciding is a 'short'.
