Elite Screen Has Gone Blank after Railmaster Use

Hi all, hope you had a lovely Christmas 2011.

I have a problem with my Elite. I downloaded Railmaster (no probs), linked to Elite (didn't work) via PC and USB connection, and then got off railmaster.

Now when I turn on my Elite, the green

light comes on flashing, but no normal startup on the screen. Instead, it is blank. (elite is now NOT connected to usb or pc at all).

Because I can't see the screen, I cannot even go to any menus on the elite. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Have you tried resetting the elite
did the elite ever connect to internet or railmaster
maybe it was trying to upgrade and failed
make sure you have down loaded all the firmware upgrades
for

both the elite and railmaster

if all fails
follow the directions and reprogram the elite
make sure the drivers are correct for your operating system
there are known problems with win7
try XP (recomended) or vista

See my reply on the other post you located elsewhere. Much the same as the above referring to firmware reinstallation.

If running Windows 7 right click the setup file and give administrator rights (run as administrator) and tick the check box that

enables you to run under Service Pack 3 for XP compatibility. This works for Win 7 32 and 64 bit. You may need to give it a few goes though depending upon your system. I gave it three goes and it worked after that on a friend's amchine.

Do not connect

through a USB hub.
