Andmat
Hi been using Railmaster with the elink for over a year with no real problems until today,I programed the dcc on a new R3582tts all sound events work except the engine running sound, when you press F1 you hear the engine startup sounds then fadeaway when set the engine in motion there is no sound produced, however all the other sound events work when the other F keys are pressed. Anyone have any Ideas or had experiance of this problem.
Chrissaf
@Andmat.You seem to be (from your posted text) experienced in setting up and using sound in RailMaster (RM). So this is probably not your issue, but worth checking all the same, just in case..In RM, the Function buttons are set up to send the F command and then a few seconds later send the F command again to switch the function off (toggle operation). This toggle action is overrided and converted to a 'latching' operation by the addition of the text "on/off" on the button label..Check that the F1 button for your R3582TTS in RM has the "on/off" text.......see example below. If this simple bit of text is missing in your setup, pressing F1 will turn the sound 'on' and then turn it off again a few seconds later. If the "on/off" is missing, just edit the button text when in the 'loco setting up' RM window. It has not been unknown for HRMS to miss off this vital bit of text in their configuration of locos in the Hornby database, or for that matter 'add it' where it is not required (for example...F3 for 'Horn 2' in the image below)../media/tinymce_upload/453d4f64880f12403c31b7ec577b29f8.jpg.PS - This "on/off" label feature is not covered in the RM manual user guide. Chrissaf
EDIT to above. Minor picky point, but have you quoted the correct Hornby R number.....I can find absolutely no reference to R3582TTS on the Hornby site......or the Internet in general (Google).
