Trainman07011
Hi! Can I get some suggestions for which sound decoders are most appropriate for a Hornby Battle of Britain class? (And which are easiest to fit)
96RAF
Welcome to the Hornby forums 070118-pin TTS Merchant Navy or full fat 21-pin Hornby version if you can find one, else it's down to other brands - try RM Web DCC Sound forum for those as per forum rules we are not allowed to recommend products other than Hornby unless Hornby do not make that product. As for ease of fit, later locos have an 8-pin socket and place for the speaker located in the tender. Earlier locos usually have the socket in the loco and no room there for a speaker so a bit of extra wiring is required. Further information on request.Rob
