Backafter5 Posted August 17, 2017 Share Posted August 17, 2017 hiwhen switched on the R8247 decoder fires points once and then gets hot and does not appear to recharge. Backafter5 Posted August 18, 2017 Author Share Posted August 18, 2017 Thanks all who answered but as I am new to model railway I had some how programmed the decoder to stay on instead of just giving a burst of power but lots of browsing it suddenly became clear what I was looking at in railmaster. mikejj101 Posted August 18, 2017 Share Posted August 18, 2017 Glad you sorted the decoder problem.With regard to trains sticking on points - double check with your meter that you are getting power to all parts of the point.
