Mullaghmorerailways
Try to program dcc concepts digital point motors with the elite and not having much luck. The elite manual only shows how to use the accessory module. How do you program accessories that are dcc ready using the elite? I connected the motor to the program track and used acc to write the new address but it didn't take.
St1ngr4y
Hi,I think you will find that these decoders have what is known as a "learn" switch for each port on them. You don't need to connect to the programming track, connect it to your DCC bus if you have one, or the track output from the Elite. Then, for each port on the decoder, switch it to learn mode, and from the Elite, select the accessory address you want to give to that port, and send it either a right or left command. Then switch the port back to operational mode and that port will thereafter remember its new address. The decoder instructions will give you more information on how to do this.Ray
Chrissaf
This previous post explains 'step by step' in detail how to configure DCC Concepts IP digital point motors. However, the post is written for using RailMaster. The principle is the same when using Elite, but even more simpler..As Ray says above, you DO NOT need to connect the DCC Concepts IP digital to your programming track controller output. The Hornby documented procedure is only applicable to Hornby Accessory Decoders..https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/adding-colbolt-ip-points-motors/?p=
Mullaghmorerailways
Thanks so much guys. I did try to search the forum but didn't use the right key words. Knew someone else must have had the same problem. This is all new to me. This is my first layout since I was a kid. So much has changed!
