I am struggling to find a supplier of X8019SK Chassis Bottom and Screws.
Can anybody tell me where to get one from OR if the Reference number has changed perhaps somebody would be so kind as to tell me the new reference.

01227 770777 and ask them if they have any stock or alternatives. Abbigails, (Hornby Spares), list the part as out of stock but you could try ringing them

Hi Poliss I saw that and looked at all other people I know who sell spares. Lendons of Cardiff are taking pre orders but without any date for delivery. I can't understand why this part is so hard to locate.

It would have been better to start a new thread rather than bring a 10 year old one back to life.

I suggest you look on the New Modellers Shop website, they currently have some Class 08 chassis bottoms with screws for sale, but with a different part number, but on the same service sheet 278F have a look as you never know it could be what you are looking for.

If you are referring to X9374, unfortunately that is for the super-detail class 08, not the earlier version using the generic 0-6-0 chassis.

The chassis bottom for the 0-6-0 was allocated moulding number L5698 in UK-production days, then it became X8019 when packed in China with its screws and finally X8019SK when the moulding was amended at the SandaKan factory to incorporate a third fixing to the chassis block. Any of L5698/X8019 would do the job but seem to be rarer than hen's teeth.
