integrator
I have recently re-built my track and having trouble re-programming three R8126 accessory points into new positions on the layout. I have also changed controllers from two Select units to new Elite so I can eventually use the new software on my Laptop. It would seem the old point addresses have been saved from the old track and I am now having trouble reprogramming them on the new elite. Also, the point motors I can get to work, the power seems to be very weak and hardly has the power to move the solenoid. I am obviously doing something wrong, any suggestions?Vic
011110
Suggestions - re-programme using your old Select, with the Decoder connected directly to the Select; check all your wiring - I bought a decoder last week and could not get it to programme - turned out its power cable was faulty.Regards, Harold
stevecamden
I take it you had the R8216 point decoders on the Elite's programming track?
