By rights there should be no problem but be aware that as with all DCC controllers, full voltage is going to the track all the time, even if no current is being drawn because nothing is on the track. Augustus Caesar Posted May 28, 2018 Share Posted May 28, 2018 As with all power supplies it will degrade over time and a purchase will be necessary.I see no real reason for keeping it on 24/7. My reason for not doing so is when the home is empty you would want as little draw on energy as possible so cutting fire risks and as this is a mini transformer I would leave it off when out and also overnight.Personally I wouldn't risk it for a biscuit.
