I bought this piece many years back when travelling. This is a copy of the Julius Caesar figure but it came assembled and silver/black patinated. The marking below the stand reads "Award International HK" and "Made in HongKong".

Hi Ratch,

I took some detailed pics for your ref.

It is plastic, not a single moulding but appears to be assembled from various kit parts. I am not familiar with the original Airfix kit but the pics show the mould lines here for a direct comparison with the original kit.

Plastic base is moulded black colour. The figure appears to be black plastic washed with silver patina colour.

Notice that the comb is separate from the helmet.

Mould lines along the side of the figure

Mould lines along the legs. The legs are separate from the torso and appear to have been assembled separately then fixed to underside of torso. A typical Airfix 1/12 figure assembly.

The front torso with moulded details. The gladius is a separate moulding with a seam line./media/tinymce_upload/ae6d1c8674f1268a060f6a9cb4e541dd.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/edcd2d16cc1c2ffaf8d009625bd7b684.jpg The dagger is moulded to the torso. The cloak is a separate piece from the rest of the figure with its own mould lines. I assume therefore that the head assembly is separate from the torso as it has to fit into the top hole of the cloak.
