Chrissaf
For the benefit of other / future readers. The "Unable to enter resource- 12029" is a very well known Windows error message that can show during RailMaster key activation. The Windows Firewall needs "railmaster.exe" to be added to it as an exception. The instructions for doing this is in the "security.pdf" document installed as standard as part of the RailMaster installation process..This previous post shows the "add an exception" process in a little more detail:https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/elink-program-track/?p=2/#post-154731. BagEndJct
Just to add my twopenn'orth. I gave up trying to communicate via my Internet service for such operations as activation and reporting bugs. Deactivating firewall and antivirus had no effect. And the guy who runs our Internet service could not solve it either. In case this helps others who have tried everything: my way round is to connect my laptop via my mobile phone on 4G (using its Mobile Hotspot feature). I don't need to de-activate anything for this to work. If its of relevance, I'm in Spain. But worth a try wherever you are?
