toohot22 Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Hi AllIm in the middle of making a layout for my first time and watch a few clips on youtube but after powering my track to a bus wire I tryed to test my first train (the train and chip are both new out of the box)after putting the train on the track my select controller box started peeping and the screen was meesed up but when i removed the train it went back fine can anyone tell me what im doing wrong or why im getting the peepsthanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Flashbang Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 HiTo prove ....Remove the two track feed wires from the rear of the Select. Now power it up. It should start correctly. If ok power down again. If it fails or shows error message then its defective and needs to be replaced if new or repaired by Hornby if its out of warranty.Assuming it is ok, power down and reconnect the track two wires and remove all locos from the tracks. Power Select back up. It should start correctly. If ok, the problem would look as though its with the loco. If it fails or shows an error your track wiring or the track configuration is the problem and needs investigating further. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
