Junglehouse
Hi everyone,Over the weekend I started using my RailMaster and the first thing I did was read the CVs on my locos. Am I right in thinking that it is not possible to save the CVs to RailMaster so each time I select the loco (in the loco section not when running it on the layout) I can see the last saved CV settings. Currently I'm having to write them down in a word processor to keep a record of them.If this is not possible maybe it could be something to add to the software in the future.Regards, Tim
LMSTim
When you have a new loco the best thing to do is put it on the programming track and tell RailMaster to read all 255 CVs. This can take an hour because of the speed of chip reading and the DCC controller, so go and have dinner. You will find that all 255 CVs are not only saved with the loco but also that certain CVs are described to make life easier, including the manufacturer and decoder name. You can also change mutiple CVs and write them all at the same time. It's all explained in the PDF guide.
