How can I tell if my Elink Controller is working correctly

In Railmaster hover over the controller icon top right hand corner of the screen. If that is lit up and reports the controller is there along with the revision state you are communicating with RM.

Another check is to open the general settings page and see if the controller is showing a pink band over the controller name. If so then there is a configuration fault. No pink band means all is OK.

The final check is does it control your locos.

I am now sure if my computer is talking to my elink controller, how can I tell. The green led is on.

If Rob's checks show that there is indeed an issue with your eLink communicating with RM. Then have you just (or recently) upgraded RM from version 1.69 to version 1.70?
