General advice on Railmaster / eLink

1. I've ran 5 locos with one having sound using a 1 Amp transformer. I don't know if it would power 5 sound locos.

2. Better to wire directly to the track at multiple locations.

1 will have to suck and see if  the transformer is up to the job. I have gome a bit overboard  on connections  and soldered to ever piece of track onto a main ring loop. Just waiting for Railmaster/ E - link to turn up and then the fun will begin from what I have read on the forum with some of the problems reported.

Let’s hope mine is straight forward.

I am biting the bullet and about to order up rail master/ elink. I note the transformer is only 1amp. Is this sufficient to run 5 loco’s at once with sound.

1. Will I need to order up a bigger transformer.

2. Do I need to use the Hornby digital track section connection or can I hard wire under the board.

iI will  fully read all the advise on how to set up etc when I placed my order for the right kit.
