Hornby Class 29

Can anyone advise me as to what lights a class 29 had? I would also like to know the positions. I want to add lights to my Hornby class 29, which is really old running off a ringfield motor. I have converted it to DCC and now I would like to add lights, but I cannot find from the web which ones it had and their positions.

This may help. The original 1350hp configuration D6100 to D6109 was the four white disks which flap over, so that when closed they show a green side so become invisible, but when opened up display one or more white discs in the standard headcode pattern (see below). The disc has a hole in front of an electric light . these lights are operated by switches in the driver's cab. The lights also display the standard headcode. The production batch (1000 hp) also had white discs at first numbers D6110 to D6157, but 20 (including some of the ten prototypes) were later re-engined to 1350hp , and at the same time had the discs replaced by a four character alpha-numeric panel.

Re-engined locos were D6100/1/2/3/6/7/8/12/13/14/16/19/21/23/24/29/30/32/33/37

The headcodes used in 1961 were -/media/tinymce_upload/7e72c3808f2fa4b462fbad89243e1144.jpg
