Chrissaf Posted March 20, 2020 Share Posted March 20, 2020 When you power it up, three numbers will briefly appear sequentially on the screen..XX followed by 30 followed by 03.The XX denotes the firmware version and will be a number between 10 and 20..If XX = 16 then that is firmware version 1.6.There is no easy alternative visual way to identify the firmware as apart from version 20, all the previous firmware versions had the exactly the same Select case. And even if you look at the 'date code' embossed on the case, there is no guarantee that an early firmware Select won't have already had its firmware updated to a more recent version at a later date.
