Chrissaf
No reason why not. The Hornby Sapphire is a MTC21 Pin decoder and Bachmann 21 pin sockets are also MTC21 specification. Perhaps an expensive way of getting a MTC21 Pin decoder, there are many to choose from..Note however, that the Hornby Sapphire decoder seems to have been discontinued and no longer available from Hornby (stocks might still be on the shelves in retailers, hence maybe at a cheaper sale price). Chrissaf
Hi quick question does the saphire 21 pin work with the Bachman class 47. Any help on this subject would be great thanks a million.
ColinB
If it is any use I either use LaisDCC or Zimo products. Because the Bachmann 47 picks up on all wheels they both work OK, the Zimo is a lot better that the LaisDCC although the LaisDCC is really cheap, but they both work. Surprisingly Zimo do a cheap £20 version which is really good value compared to all the other offerings.A lot depends on what you want to do, if you want to mess around with CV settings then the Zimo is probably more reliable.
