Front motors are difficult.

If stock including motor,  try scalextric 7005 chip.

If that fails, use slotit chip.

Believe both shown on this site.

Will need black guide to change lanes and count laps.

Check at slot forom, digital, scalextric to see previous  toy conversions.

Hi, I have done the Ferrari 250 LM, Ferrari 250 GTO, Alfa Romeo TZ without any problems.  The oldest being the Alfa, which must be coming on for 8 years.  As Gorp has said, the Alfa (front motor) has been tricky - space inside being another issue and the GTO was a nightmare - not finding space for the chip, but making sure that the wiring didn't foul on anything.

Good luck!

Chas.

Compatibility is not a problem. Just make sure the LED is not more than 1 cm behind the guide blade and that the guide blade is black.

The 7005 chip was deisgned analog cars pretty much of any brand as long as the motor does not use too many amps (SCX for example). As gorp says, the Sllot.it chip can handle more amps.
