DK123GWR
I have an old Lima class 47 with a ringfield motor. It has recently been fitted with an R8249 decoder. I have set it up in RailMaster and everything works correctly except for the scale speeds, which are miles away from my other models (At 40mph, the 47 can overtake other models at 75mph). How can I adjust this? I have timed it around a circle of R3 track and put the maximum locomotive speed and this time into the relevant section of Railmaster. Following this, the 47 running at 95mph was slower than the rest of my models at around 40mph. I have subsequently repeated the process and I am now back to the original situation, with the 47 at 40mph going faster than other locomotives at 75mph. However, the speed does not increase much after reaching 40mph, with the locomotive's top speed of 95mph looking about right compared to other locomotives. Can suggest how I can fix this? Chrissaf
Another satisfied customer ... I wish I had saved a record of these RM successes ... they would be adding up to quite a big portfolio by now.
