Chrissaf
About a 95% probability that either the 'speaker' has blown ... an extremely common issue..OR the Audio Amp on the decoder has blown ... a common issue but not as common as the speaker..If it's under Warranty send it back. If outside Warranty the cheaper initial option is to replace the 'speaker' with a non Hornby branded one that will be more reliable .. this speaker must be not less than 8 ohms rated. If that doesn't work, then the decoder will need 'repair / replacing'..By the way ... you never gave a follow up reply to your other post .. follow this link:https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/surface-point-motors-not-working/?p=1/#post-328128.TIP: As a newbie poster on the forum, just be aware that the 'Blue Button with the White Arrow' is not a 'Reply to this post' button.
