RKF00
Hey folks. I am wanting some advice on getting a primer. I am painting in enamel paint and want to know if spray acrylic primer will work or if brush primer works. The final colours on the model is white fuselage with a black nose and a metallic wings/bottom. the kit is an old Dakota mark IV dans air services livery. I am thinking number 1 or number 34. peebeep
I would go for aerosol acrylic. Aerosols usually have hot solvents in the propellant and that will give the paint some bite onto the plastic. For a white fuselage, white primer is a no brainer. White enamel paint? No thanks, it can turn yellow overnight. Silver/metallic paints work best over a glossy black base, it gives them more depth. Welcome to the forum BTW.
