eLink stops communicating with RailMaster

If a loco derails even it one wheel the only way to start again is to power down eLink disconnect from RailMaster power and reconnect.

Note on the linked page the little red oblong circled in the image. If you can see this red oblong then when you get your short, you remove the cause of the short and then click the red oblong to restart everything. If you can't see this red oblong, then follow the guidance in the link below to make it appear.

For others reading. This software red oblong reset controller reset button only shows when using eLink. There is no red oblong reset button when using an Elite controller with RailMaster as the reset button is a physical button on the Elite itself.

hi can someone help me please.I am in the middile of contructing a layout using RailMaster and eLink. everything is ok until I have a derailment.

if a loco derails even it one wheel the only way to start again is to power down eLink disconnect from RailMaster power and reconnect.

advise on how to restart without having to go through the above welcome. eLike only 2 months old.
