R7274 decoder for turntable?

For converting an R070 turntable for DCC control, is an R7274 decoder ok?

It is less expensive than the R8249, and has the required red, orange, grey and black wires.

The R7274 is actually a R8249 Decoder PCB but wired to a four way Du-Pont connector. So Yes ... it is a suitable alternative to use on a R070 TT. The F0 - F2 function solder pads of the R8249 are still on the PCB but left unused and unconnected on the R7274.
