BODS3 Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Hello I am just about in the position to start operating my layout but still unclear on a couple of basic things. I have a new Elite with nothing programed together with a new copy of Railmaster installed on my PC. My question is do I just connect the Elite to the PC and program the Locos and ass./ points with the Railmaster or do I still need to do some programming on the Elite as well? stevecamden Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 You would use the Elite for any programming of loco's and/or accessory decoders for points/signals etc on the programming track. So, for instance, your loco's would have a id number etc.Then everything else is done through Railmaster. You can at any time use both RM and the Elite. So you can have a programme running in Railmaster controlling so parts of the layout and operate other loco's with the Elite. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
