Do DCC Concepts Accessory Decoders work with Hornby?

.

Yes

.

If they do, what one would I need for Hornby surface mounted points?

.

The more common one would be from the DCC Concepts ADS range.

.

DCD-ADS-2SX (2 port decoder)

DCD-ADS-4SX (4 port decoder)

DCD-ADS-8SX (8 port decoder)

.

What one for signals?

.

The same ones as above (as long as Signals are Dual Aspect). If the signals are multi-aspect [3 or 4 Aspect] then you need a specialist signal decoder such as those made by Train-Tech.

.

And is there one especially for slow action point motors?

.

You either use the DCD-SDC Convertor that I have documented in your other parallel thread with one of the ADS decoders mentioned above.

.

OR

.

You use the DCC Concepts iP Digital slow action point motor. This product incorporates the decoder and the slow action point motor in a single case.

.

DCP-CB1DiP (Single iP Digital Point Motor)

DCP-CB6DiP (6 pack iP Digital Point Motor)

DCP-CB12DiP (12 pack iP Digital Point Motor)

.

You will find downloadable DCC Concepts product manuals on the product links I have provided above. I suggest you spend a little time reading them for your research. By all means ask questions of clarification afterwards, but the manuals provide far more in depth information than we can provide you with here.

.

And do they work with the GM500D?

.

All DCC Concepts Accessory Decoders include change-over relay contacts integral to the product. Thus, they replicate the function of the GM500D, therefore the need for including GM500Ds as well is superfluous. The GM500D will only work with Solenoid Accessory Decoders such as the Hornby R8247 and DCC Concepts ADS decoders. They are not compatible with DCC Concepts iP Digital Slow Action point motors.

The Red underlined text above are clickable links to other pages.

.

PS - It would have been better to keep all these questions in one single thread (your other thread) as they are all inter-related to one another.
