Johnny_Suavo
Hi there. I've returned to the hobby after 30+ years following the passing of my father and grandfather. I've a young daughter and lots of nephews and nieces and they too love the hobby. As the preferred control method for them at the time (early 80s) being Zero 1 and me starting in analogue, I've just purchased a controller, slave and some modules. However, my father was a royal engineer and electrics were his day job, mine really isnt. So, I've no idea how to wire a module in, what resistors I need and what I can and cant put a module in. I'm being very nostalgic for a while before building an established layout and convert to DCC.. Can anyone please help with an easier wiring diagram, help on gauge of wires and homage of resistors. Kind thanks
Chrissaf
There is at least one other Zero1 user (fan) on this forum that I know of. He is currently an active forum member as he has posted something earlier this week. I feel confident that he will touch base in this thread if he sees your topic title..In the meantime, if you use the 'Search Forum' box and search for the term Zero, you should get 4 pages of search result hits..Whilst you wait for a reply, perhaps you would spend a few minutes reviewing the TIPs in the TIP page link below:.TIP: As a newbie poster on the forum, just be aware that the 'Blue Button with the White Arrow' is not a 'Reply to this post' button. If you want to reply to any of the posts, scroll down and write your reply in the reply text box at the bottom of the page and click the Green 'Reply' button..See also – further TIPs on how to get the best user experience from this forum.https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/tips-on-using-the-forum/.
