Time for Arc Air Pro to be upgraded

Is it not time for  Arc Pro to be upgraded, its a real shame you can only race One pace car.  This really needs sorting out.

It has been upgraded. The Sunset Speedway and 24 Hour Ginetta sets have better lap counting and analog compatibility. Hopefully the powerbase upgrade sets will get this soon.

I can vouch that the Magic APP allows multiple pace cars just fine.

Elsewhere there are tips about taping over the LED so that the pace car does not reset the lane change flipper (but also causes it to not read laps).

Getting lane-changing pace cars is possible but requires a modified chip (DR_C created that over a year ago..).

If you really want to the official app to do multiple pace cars use the Scalextric Customer Service link at the right and send them a note.

They prioritize work based on user feedback.

My arc pro does not count the laps, so all the race functions do not work properly either. Tyre wear, fuel etc. My laptop is properly connected as the green light on the powerbase is on and each car on the laptop is showing the correct throttle response. 

Is this because the powerbase needs an "upgrade". I'm a bit annoyed that I pay so much for a product that doesn't work straight out of the box

No, if operating controller properly when passing lap counter and if track  was built following the requirements and if guides fit requirements too - see slotracer.online for arc pro manual.

Could it be the cars are traveling in the wrong direction? The cars must travel from right to left as you read "ARC PRO" in the track for things to work correctly.

Offficially ARC PRO does not support laptops so I am assuming you are using the Magic APP. If so I suggest you contact him for support.
