morairamike
My track rubber was bought in 1957 and is an olfd fashioned ink rubber from Woolworths. No doubt Smith's sell them these days.
ColinB
I bought a Peco one, but an ink rubber works just as well. I even glued one to a long stick for doing inside tunnels.
Forum-1211528
Can a standard pencil Eraser be used as a track rubber
Chrissaf
I find a 'pencil eraser' to be a bit too soft. The ball point pen 'ink eraser' is made of much harder material and is more akin in makeup and performance to a proper 'track rubber'..But to be honest, for the same price (or thereabouts) you might as well buy the proper thing. It will be larger and probably outlive you..
