Mando
I fitted an R7274 4pin docoder to my 0-4-0 Peckett. The chip has been recognised and the engine renumbered but does not move forward or backward. I use an NCE Power Cab. Can anyone offer any suggestions, I'm fairly new to DCC.Thanks
Chrissaf
Did you test it on the default 03 DCC address first before trying to change the address?.Try running it on the default 03 address anyway. If the loco responds using address 03, then your attempt to change the address didn't work. Does the loco run OK on a DC supply? If it does, then that would indicate that the basic electrical installation is probably OK..TIP: As a newbie poster on the forum, just be aware that the 'Blue Button with the White Arrow' is not a 'Reply to this post' button. jane1707819582
Are you using the autoswitch for a programme track ?If so do either a decoder reset or an unlock .
Mando
Thanks for the advice, my lovely little Peckett is now responding. It's great to have somewhere to ask when things do not go to plan and you don't have the experience to know what to try.
