R8245 sapphire decoder

The Sapphire is not a 'sound decoder' so it doesn't have any sounds ... correct or otherwise.

.

Which DMU ... some form of clue would be useful?

[brand & locomotive class or model number for example]

.

The Sapphire is natively a 21 Pin decoder, but comes with an 8 pin Adaptor harness. So in theory it should fit any loco with either a 21 Pin [MTC21] or 8 Pin [NEM652] decoder interface (subject to space being available).

.
