The intermediate gear is held in by two pieces of very small plastic with incredibly small screws. Unfortunately on mine, one of them is broken. When I look at the Service Sheet 330C there is no mention of these and no part number. Does anyone know where I will find the part number and more importantly do I actually need them, I imagine the intermediate gear is held in via the motor worm drive pressure on it. Going Spare Posted July 7, 2020 Share Posted July 7, 2020 Are these the two items shown on the service sheet underneath the motor worm? If so, ask Customer Services if they can help as they are not offered as routine spares and there will only be internal part numbers known only to Hornby. If these are not what you need and if the loco was bought new, still ask HCS. As to whether you need them, have you tried running the loco without them?
