Chrissaf
RailMaster is a Hornby product, therefore only Hornby branded locos are included in the internal pre-configured RailMaster loco database. BUT THIS DOES NOT STOP YOU from using non-Hornby branded locos with RailMaster. It just means that you have to configure the locos manually. The Hornby loco database is just a Hornby 'time saving' aid for Hornby branded locos..I have three times more Bachmann locos than Hornby ones, and they all work absolutely fine in my RailMaster..If you need further 'How To' guidance, then these following threads cover the main aspects of adding and configuring locomotives in RailMaster..For no loco found in the database i.e Bachmann locos, you need to follow the Tutorial for 'Manually Adding a Loco'. For 'non-sound' decoders, then just ignore the references to sound in the listed Tutorials..Adding a loco from the database into RM (my post 3rd one down).http://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/loco-registration/?p=1.Using RM to change the address of an existing Locohttps://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/cant-change-loco-cv-address/.Using RM to read and write CVshttps://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/problem-with-tts-decoder/?p=1.Manually adding a Loco to the RM Database.https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/r3459tts-decoder-not-recognized-23469/.Full description of the ‘Locomotive Settings’ screen in detail.https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/changing-cruise-and-shunt-speeds/?p=1.TIP: As a newbie poster on the forum, just be aware that the 'Blue Button with the White Arrow' is not a 'Reply to this post' button.
