Adding DCC to LMS tender ending

Hi,

 

I've spent most of today fitting DCC chips to some of my favourite DC locos.  I even managed to fit one into Percy! (Thomas TT Engine)

 

I'm currently experiencing some issues with one of my favourites... The LMS Princess Royal (picture 1?). I couldnt find any help through the Hornby guidance and it seems it will run backwards very well on DC but when I add it to the DCC track the controller flashes and the engines seems to buzz on and off.

 

I've attached picture 2 to show you what I've done so far (I thought the Flying Scotsman instructions were similar).
