go4trains
Can anyone help , I am trying to find a way to use the Rocket couplings. They are so small and fiddley that I have so far been defeated in the task. I might get one or even two of them on then desaster they all come appart. Anyone know a quick easy method . Thanks Frank.l off.
atom3624
See Sam's Trains - he has a YT channel and had a go at fitting the couplings. Al.
Ducky1
I have put mine to one side and have obtained some chain links used for jewelry. The links are 4mm x 2mm. I have cut short lengths and the link just fits over the carriage hook and stays on. They even look more realistic than the plastic ones as the give and take just as they would in real life. JJ73
Yeah I done the same as Ducky above - I went to my Local Model Shop & got some small chains & used them instead - that seemed to work

go4trains
Thank you all for your help , I think, except for times when I want to " show off " my collection I will keep it in the box. This is because of the linkage problems and the fine detail on the carages (foot plates) are easily damaged. But hey what a great model, and can't wait for the LION ( Titfield Thunderbold). dadad
Hi there,I bought a length of 9 links to the inch chain from Langly's ( 30 inch lengths) and cut several 9 link lengths to use as couplings. These work fine and are fitted using fine point tweezers and as has been said have a more realistic take up with the first coach moving off with the last one stationary.John
