Andyman1957
Hi everyone.I have a bundle of old 80's track, and some "Sport" track, as well as "Start" track. I have bought adapters for connecting the old 80's track to the "Sport" track, but need a different adapter in order to connect the "Sport" to the "Start". Any ideas as to where I can purchase these? Andy P.
The old "Start" track to Sport Converters are hard to find. You will just have to keep watching online offerings from various auction or online retail stores. You do have to be careful because Hornby has started selling "Start" sets again where the track is hard plastic but the connectors are the same as Sport track. gorp
Wow , save $5 and get plastic but no info on what is inside other than 2 convertor pieces , 2 straights , 2 vipersand a bunch of standard curves .(surprised is not 4 convertors and what exactly is a convertor for start ? )Is there any feature about start , that makes it desirable over sport ? For some reason, think in the days of covid and brexit , that start is desperation .Hope am wrong.
