Railmaster Functions

Recommended Posts

You have misunderstood the purpose of the six function 'check box' feature. Both RailMaster versions Standard and PRO support the full range of functions from F0 to F28. All these functions are accessible on the 'Large Throttle' display.

.

True, in the 'Locomotive Settings' screen you can only chose six functions from the list with the 'check boxes'. But these six selected functions only apply to the 'Small Throttle' [the ones that get listed down the R.H.S of the RailMaster screen]. What you are doing in effect, is using the 'check boxes' to add your particular six favourite functions for that loco to the small throttle. All functions, whether ticked or not, are still available on the 'large throttle'.

.

To access all 29 functions. You click on a small throttle to open a large throttle, then scroll the large throttle function area to see all 29 functions.

.

This previous post provides more in depth detail and shows with example screen capture images how to scroll the large throttle to see all functions. The link below shows functions up to F25, F26 to F28 were added to RM later, after the linked post was created.

.

Ignore the typo error in the linked post indicating that the full range is F0 to F27 ... it is F0 to F28.
