AVFCAM
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, or if it has been asked before, but I can't seem to get a straight answer...Can I use a Hornby accessory decoder with Seep point motors? The Seep motors will suit my layout more as they require a smaller amount of space than the other motors I have seen...but, I want my points to be digital, so if they are not compatible then I can't use them. Also, do points need to have switches etc when being controlled digitally? Flashbang
HiThe Hornby points decoder can indeed work Seep motors. If its the R8247 then all you need to ensure is that the output is set to 'pulse' (which it is by default). You don't have point operation switches/levers or a CDU when a Hornby point decoder is used. AVFCAM
Cheers mateStressing about all the wiring that's needed...but I guess that it is easier as no switch is there.
