Tomek22
This AEC Matador Refueller was for a "what if" Bundeswehr scenario from me "germanized".A new front fender, a front searchlight was added. German Bundeswehr markings for aviation fuel and Bundeswehr number plates, too.The driver was painted into a german uniform. The steering wheel ist now left hand./media/tinymce_upload/f3cbc6f86fbc7dd44cb5b66a6103aaf9.jpg /media/tinymce_upload/d6b29b60e04d63b62528c256d9f52e76.jpg

jopres57
Thats an interesting 'What if' Tomek22. As a matter of interest what colour is the model painted? Is it an official Bundeswehr scheme or part of the scenario.
Matthias Muth
In the first days of the Bundeswehr in 1955 they used some equipment from former RAF airfields in Germany. modelldoc
Tomek22
jopress57:no, thats an official Bundeswehr scheme. The refuellers are painted in the early years in a color called "gelbolive" over all.
