Track Alignment

I am transcribing a layout from plan 17 of the 4th edition Track Plans book. Apart from the points, the track part numbers correspond to those in TrackMaster and appear to exactly the same specification.

When I get back around to the beginning the

track does not line up in spite of using the snap together function and ensuring that double track spacing is correct. Shift-Arrow is not enough to fine align, it needs the curves rotated by fractions of a degree to get the two ends to line up, but I don't

see a way to do small rotational adjustments.

Any advice gratefully received!
